Wind, rain and genral freezing-ness

So far i can say that the weather here in Toronto is not much better (perhaps even worse) than in Bristol. Yesterday is rained all day and my feet got very wet and cold due the holes in the bottom of my boots and today it has been SO windy i cannot see for hair most of the time and have almost been blown off my feet like Dorothy! Despite the wind the sky was so blue this morning Megs and I decided that it would be a good day to go up the CN Tower and admire the views (yesterday we couldn't even see the base of it due to low lying cloud). The lift up to the top made me ears pop numerous times but the views once up there were stunning. We could even see the frozen lakes on the near by Islands.
The touristy stint here is yet to begin as besides from the tower we have been spending our days wondering the streets and popping in and out of shops to warm ourselves up. Our hostel seems nice although it is full of people with tattoos and body piercings... we managed to do some washing yesterday so we no longer smell and have sorted out how to get a tour to Niagara Falls which should be amazing as long as we pick and OK weather day to go. So that's about it for life of me. Oh and if any of you are looking to read a good book i can recommend 'The Forgotten Garden' as it kept me busy for the train journey even if it did leave Meg with no one to talk to until i had finshed it....
